Cessna CBI Kit: The Cessna Computer Based Instruction Kit is simply the state-of-the-art when it comes to modern flight training.  Instead of learning in a stale classroom environment, the Cessna Program provides a series of CD-roms that directly integrate the Ground Instruction information into the Flight Training.  Watch Lab #1 on the discs, then do Flight #1 in the airplane.  Lab #2 and Flight #2 and so on through your Private Pilot license or your Instrument, Commercial and Multi-Engine Ratings.  Your Instructor will closely follow your progress through the labs to make sure that you are on course to complete your training in the least amount of time possible.  If you are not ready to begin the actual Flight Training, the CBI Kit is also a great stand-alone Ground Instruction course.
