 Pigs Can Fly Aviation, LLC was formed in 1998 for the purpose of acquiring top quality aircraft to be used for flight training and rental. The company consists of 5 owners, 3 of whom work in law enforcement, hence the name Pigs Can Fly Aviation. The company now owns 6 of the 12 aircraft in the Flight School and Air Charter fleet. The other six are on leaseback. Jim Willis, John Glau and Andy Rasmussen all work in law enforcement and are experienced pilots. Jim Willis purchased his first airplane in 1974 and has been involved in aviation for more than 30 years. John Glau soloed on his 16th birthday, even before he got his driver’s license. Andy Rasmussen is a more recent convert to aviation. Patrick Mallon owns a radio syndication business and handles marketing and advertising.
