Favorite airplane to fly: Grumman Mallard Seaplane (lots of noise!)
Coolest thing that happened while flying: Getting 'buzzed' by one of the SR71's last flights over Palmdale in my Comanche
Bio:
I started taking private pilots lessons in 1993 and was hooked right away. Before I received my license, I sold every toy I owned, scrapped, borrowed, and begged to buy a 1960 Piper Comanche because it looked really cool and fast (mind you, I was training in a 152 Cessna at the time). I still have the plane and have not regretted owning it once. Its out ultimate off road vehicle that has taken my wife and I all over the west coast, Canada, and Mexico. Enjoy going to the Reno air races when I can afford it because "the noise to horse power ratio is just right!"
